You, in Your great compassion, Did not forsake them in the wilderness; The pillar of cloud did not leave them by day, To guide them on their way, Nor the pillar of fire by night, to light for them the way in which they were to go.
Nehemiah 9:19

The Holy Spirit is not a "She"...

See John 14:16-17 “And I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Helper that He may be with you forever; that is the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it does not behold Him or know Him, but you know Him, because He abides with you and will be in you.”

“But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things and bring to your remembrance all that I said to you.” John 14:26

“But I tell you the truth, it is to your advantage that I go away, for if I do not go away, the Helper shall not come to you, but if I go I will send Him to you, and He, when He comes, will convict the world concerning sin, and righteousness and judgment...when He, the Spirit of Truth comes, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own initiative, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will disclose to you what is to come. He shall glorify Me; for He shall take of Mine and shall disclose it to you.” John 16:7-15

The Holy Spirit is a Person and is never referred to as “she” but always referred to as “He”. The evangelical feminists argue that because wisdom is personified as “she” in Proverbs the Holy Spirit can also be referred to in the feminine sense. God did not leave this up to us. Nowhere in the Bible do we find the Holy Spirit as a “she”.

Just because God a uses a harlot as an example of a “woman” to avoid (a metaphor to which the feminists arguably never refer) as opposed to the virtuous “woman” in Proverbs in no way suggests logically that the Person of the Holy Spirit can be renamed in the feminine. Hence, it is a weak argument from the evangelical feminists to attempt to designate the personality of the third Person of the Godhead as a “she”. There is simply no basis for this biblically.
