Giving Your Life Away is a program designed for youth groups and students who wish to work at the Lighting The Way booth in Venice. The purpose is to train them in evangelism, and invest in their lives, as they are investing in the lives of others. If, by the end of the day, the students pass the test to Part One, they are rewarded a prize. The test is to find one Scripture, per topic mentioned below, in an unmarked Bible, without a tract for reference. This teaches people how to lead others to salvation by the Scriptures. This equips Christians for evangelism and makes the most of a day of witnessing in Venice. They have all day to practice, but by the end of the day, they will be tested in order to win the prize. Hopefully, everyone will want to return for a second visit to witness in Venice. Giving Your Life Away- Part Two is for the second visit, Giving Your Life Away- Part Three for the third, and so on. All parts to Giving Your Life Away involve Scripture memorization.

PART ONE:

Find one verse that says man is a sinner:
(Examples: Rom. 3:23, Is. 59:2, Rom. 3:10-12)

Find one verse that says salvation is by grace:
Examples: Titus 3:5, Eph. 2:8-9, Rom. 6:23)

Find one verse that says we must repent to be saved:
(Examples: Acts 17:30, Acts. 2:38)

Find one verse that says we must confess our sins to be saved:
(Examples: 1John 1:9, Rom. 10:9-10)

Find one verse that says we have assurance of eternal life:
(Examples: 1John 5:11-13, John 10:27-29, John 6:39)

PART FIVE: HOLY SPIRIT IS GOD VERSES:

Acts 5:4- the Holy Spirit is called God
Acts 5:1-4 – You can only lie to a personality, not an object that is lifeless.
Acts 13:1-2 –Only a person can speak “I.” It designates personality.
God Was Crucified -1 Corinthians 2:8
