Order copies at http://www.pre-trib.org/ of this excellent debate against preterism. Dr. Mark Hitchcock won with the Sword of Scripture!
The debate between Mark Hitchcock and Hank Hanegraaff was recorded Dec. 10, 2007, at the Sheraton Grand Hotel in Dallas, TX. Tim LaHaye was sitting on the front row, too, and Hank ended up apologizing on camera to him for calling him names. In the video Hank also recites for you the monologue he uses of memorized Scripture of Revelation. It is truly a monologue, like one of an actor. He went into the same memorized performance at the Opryland Hotel (Nashville, TN) when we heard him speak on preterism there, implying that if non-preterists have not memorized Revelation like he has the non-preterists must not know Scripture as well!
I think it is clear that the events in Revelation are not "preterist", meaning "in the past" but are yet to come! Order the video for a reviting debate on whether Revelation was written in 95 A.D. or whether all of the events in Rev. 1:1-20:6 were fulfilled before 70 A.D., and therefore will not take place in the future (as Hank suggests).
