In Deceived by a Counterfeit "Jesus" –The Twisted "Truths" of The Shack & A Course in Miracles we see once again the current fad of calling God "mother" permeating the nominal church. The Shack’s female "God" can easily be compared to the "mother god" worship in evangelical feminism.
"For me to appear to you as a woman and suggest that you call me Papa is simply to mix metaphors, to help you keep from falling so easily back into your religious conditioning." [1,p.93]
